PocketPractitioner™ OfficeManager ($149.00 US)
Network Reader

Available upon request only.

PocketPractitioner Office includes a Desktop program that mirrors PocketPractitioner on the Handheld.  Each program is a stand-alone database that resides on the hard drive of the user's PC and requires password authentication for the user to open the application.  Data is not shared between databases.

PocketPractitioner OfficeManager is a program that allows authorized users to open, read and write to any PocketPractitioner database on a network.  This allows clerical staff the ability to add data and print reports from a separate computer.

Example: A cardiology group has six providers using PocketPractitioner Office, several with their own computers and several sharing a common computer. Each physician captures charges in the hospital and HotSyncs the handheld on arriving in the office. A staff member, with OfficeManager on  any computer on the network, prints all new procedures, and runs additional billing reports if necessary. As new hospital patients are added during the day, either the provider or the staff member updates the demographics on their own PC. The physician HotSyncs again at the end of the day and all information on the handheld is current.
